I’m building a race truck!
No, unfortunately not. However, I have an idea. I currently own a 1970 Ford F-100, which looks like the truck below just heavily patina’ed. And a bit of rust. And I have a set of these white spoked steel wheels. I’ve been contemplating an open side exit dual exhaust, painting the wheels black, adding some 275/60R15 tires all the way around, and painting numbers on the doors with perhaps some other vintage lettering to go with it. The truck runs and drives fine, and I don’t want to restore it. I just want to have some fun.

I saw a Bronco just like that once about a year or two ago in amazingly nice shape. It was parked in a Menard’s parking lot.

that paint does not hold up well. have seen 2 or 3. as soon as it starts to fade at all, it looks a million years old. looks awesome new. that one above is one of those 1976 stripe packages. 76 was THE year for cool auto stripe packages.

Yes that looks good.
Edit- you may be on to something with the stripes.
